Your Favourite Young Kiwi Actor Just Scored A Role In ‘Deadpool 2’
He didn't choose the skuxx life, the skuxx life chose him.
Just in case you weren’t already pumped for Deadpool 2, the foul-mouthed superhero sequel has gone and cast one of the best young actors this side of the planet has produced in years: 14-year-old New Zealander Julian Dennison.
If you don’t know who Dennison is, stop reading this immediately and go and watch Taika Waititi’s brilliant Hunt for the Wilderpeople. This might take you a while, since you’ll probably want to watch it twice. Seriously, it’s really good.
Dennison is also the star of this Air New Zealand commercial in which he completely upstages Ronan Keating.
Ryan Reynolds broke the news of Dennison’s casting via an Instagram post.
Wilderpeople director Taika Waititi, who is currently in post-production on his own superhero movie, Thor: Ragnarok, also re-shared the image on Twitter.
Never in my wilderpeoplest dreams would I have imagined this picture existing. But…. Yessss. @JulianDennison @VancityReynolds #SkuxLife pic.twitter.com/7KUifBrdxg

It’s not clear at this stage who Dennison will be playing in the film. Not a lot of Kiwi characters in the Marvel stable, far as I’m aware. Maybe Deadpool is getting a sidekick?
Deadpool 2 hits cinemas in June 2018.
