Facebook, Tinder And Instagram All Just Went Down, And Twitter Had A Field Day

Well, it’s official. Facebook, Tinder and Instagram all went down at around 5.15pm AEST, for over 45 minutes.
The outage originated from Facebook’s New York servers, potentially due to the current blizzard that’s raging its way through the city; Instagram and Tinder were affected, as they both rely on the platform for their own.
Buzzfeed was affected too, in its own way. It’s tough running a social media-driven site without any social media to drive it.
