Edina And Patsy Maybe Kill Kate Moss In The Bonkers New ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ Trailer

There was a time in the late ’90s/early ’00s when Patsy and Edina from Absolutely Fabulous were the patron saints of tipsy aunties everywhere. The strains of Bob Dylan’s This Wheel’s On Fire that marked the opening credits was your mum’s cue to get the kids into bed, crack open the cheese and bubbly, get her sister on the phone and laugh themselves stupid.

Cut to a respectable 12 years since the last regular episode aired in 2004 (and not forgetting the 2011 and 2012 anniversary specials), and Britain’s most entertaining pair of terrible life decision-makers are returning with a vengeance. Out on July 1, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie just got its very first trailer.

Between the very real prospect of Edina drowning Kate Moss in the Thames, Patsy having sex with a supremely regretful Jon Hamm and a general sense of drug-soaked debauchery pervading throughout, you can probably win yourself some major brownie points by buying your mum tickets to this.
