Turns out that photo of Drake sitting on the Big Pineapple wasn’t just for laughs. On Wednesday, the platinum-selling recording artist confirmed what we’ve all been hoping: he’s heading to Australia in 2017.

The Australian and New Zealand leg of Drake’s Boy Meets World tour will begin in Auckland on November 3, before traveling to Sydney on November 7 and 8, Brisbane on November 10, and Melbourne on November 18 and 20.

Presale tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 12 and will be made available to the general public on Friday, September 15.

Drake last toured Australia in 2015. The announcement of these new dates came a week after his record label posted a series of images of him perched on local landmarks. In retrospect, we should have seen this coming.
