Get Excited Time-Nerds, Because There’s A Trailer For ‘Doctor Who’ Season 11
We get to meet The Doctor's new friends.
All we really know about Doctor Who season 11 is that for the first time ever, The Doctor is a woman, and the show will be born from a giant bucket of man-babies tears because of this. But we’ve also been given a cute little teaser trailer that helps flesh out some more details.
In the extremely short clip, we’re introduced to The Doctor’s new companions, as its been basically confirmed that she’ll be travelling with a TARDIS full of friends this time around. In the trailer, a whole bunch of timey-wimey stuff happens, mostly related to food for some reason. It’s atmospheric.
The new Doctor is is played by Broadchurch actor Jodie Whittaker, who is taking over the mantle from Peter Capaldi. The decision to transmogrify the time-travelling space wizard from a two-hearted immortal shape shifting alien being who presents as a human male to a two-hearted immortal shape-shifting alien being who presents as a human female was met with great consternation and debate from the world’s worst people.
However, most people are very excited to jump back in the blue box and run around solving space-crimes.
Doctor Who season 11 is expected to drop in October 2018.
