Well. This is probably the biggest thing we’ve done.
Junkee, in partnership with Singapore Airlines, is launching a nation-wide search to find four people, who will be flown to some of the world’s most exciting places, find the most interesting, original stories, and report back to us. This is The Storytellers.
Each Storyteller will be flown to an exotic destination after a stop-over in Singapore, at the world-renowned Changi Airport. Yep, basically the best airport ever.
Once at their destination their job is simple: to find the most interesting story they can, and then tell us about it. Armed with a camera, a notebook, $1000 cash, and an inquisitive mind, these four storytellers will have five night’s accommodation, no set itinerary, and the week of a lifetime.
The Storytellers can use words, video, photos or all of the above, and when they’re back in Australia they’ll work with one of Junkee’s editors to turn their story into an amazing piece.
But wait! WAIT! There is more.
After publishing each of the four stories on Junkee this November, our readers will vote for their favourite — and the overall winner will receive $4000, and become a Junkee contributor.
