Donald Glover’s extraordinary TV series Atlanta was one of the best watches of 2016 (or 2017, if you waited to watch it ~legally~ on SBS). It was a funny and raw portrait of a city that is absolutely at the centre of some of the best culture being produced anywhere in the world, and the soundtrack was straight fire too.

More than 14 months after the season one finale aired we’ve finally got a teaser trailer for season two and we’re extremely pumped.

In keeping with Atlanta’s style, both the visuals and music featured in the trailer are stunning. It’s only one minute long and dark and mysterious to the point that it’s kind of hard to make out what’s going on. But the whole team is there including Earn (Glover), Van (Zazie Beetz), Darius (Lakeith Stanfield) and Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry).

The trailer is scored by a sultry R&B track called ‘Too Fast’ by Sonder. It’s going to be your new favourite song, and if the last season is anything to go Sonder is about to blow the hell up. The biggest breakout stars of the first season of Atlanta had to be Migos, whose music and acting chops were both featured in early eps. The gang went on to become the biggest hip-hop act of 2017.

The second season of Atlanta has been dubbed ‘Robbin’ Season’ and it premieres on March 1 in the US. We’ll keep you posted on an Australia release when we get the info!
